About

I specialize in motorsports, cycling, and editorial photography — creating images that capture the raw energy, precision, and beauty of motion. Speed isn’t just something I photograph — it’s something I live. As a driver who has competed in Solo (autocross), wheel-to-wheel racing, rallycross, and cycling events, I understand performance from the inside. That perspective allows me to anticipate moments before they happen and frame them with authenticity.

I’ve photographed local and national autocross events, regional road racing, stage rally, and NASCAR, working in dynamic, high-pressure environments where timing is everything. My work reflects both the adrenaline of competition and the craftsmanship behind the machines.

Before focusing fully on photography, I worked as an Industrial Designer at Eastman Kodak Company, contributing to camera design and development during the transition from film to digital. Building cameras as well as shooting with them gives me a unique technical and creative perspective — understanding light, optics, and motion at a foundational level.

Editorially, I’ve worked with Wrightsville Beach Magazine, Lumina News, and WWAY TV3, covering assignments ranging from the 2008 presidential race to major community events throughout Wilmington. My photography has been published in Grassroots Motorsports, Wrightsville Beach Magazine, and Lumina News.

Whether trackside, roadside, or behind the scenes, I create imagery driven by instinct, experience, and a genuine need for speed.
